CHINA, Charms, amulets & fantasy coins, lot of 30 pieces in bronze and brass, mostly dating from the Ch'ing dynasty. Sizes are ranging from 26 up to 70 mm.
Fine - Very Fine
A nice collection illustrating the different kind of charms and amulets, including: good health and long life (Mitch. 4203), success in bureaucrassy and business (Grundmann 679, photo; Grundmann cfr 721-727, photo; Mitch. 4217), protection against evil, the Chinese zodiac (Grundmann cfr 137-140, photo), the trigrams, etc. Two charms are obviously Japanese (photo). A few with ancient inventory numbers written on the rim.
