Hybrid Test Note "Luminus" produced by Domtar, a company located in Canada was producing banknote trials around 1985 but does not any more today. This test note is rare because it was one of the first ever produced trials of "Hybrid" structure. This type is produced by three layers: 1 polymer layer between 2 layers of cotton banknote paper. On the polymer layer they printed a colored watermark. This is type 2 with portrait of a man (Goethe) inside the note. This first attempt to produce a Hybrid banknote substrate was lateron not issued on a banknote what makes this test note a rare piece of banknote history. Produced with security strip in substrate. Condition: UNC.
