Lycia, attributed to Pinara AR Stater. Circa 400-390 BC. Eagle with spread wings standing three-quarter right, diskeles in right / PLLEWI (in Lycian), female head right, wearing ampyx and sphendone, diskeles behind. Unpublished in the standard references, Cf. Roma Numismatics Auction IX, lot 387 (Π in left field); for similar reverse type and legend cf. SNG Copenhagen Suppl. 488; for similar obverse and reverse types cf. Peus sale 407, 2012, 772-3 (tetrobol and diobol). 8.34g, 26mm, 10h.

Good Very Fine. Apparently unique and unpublished variety without Π in left field.
