Alle Welt: France: rare unissued design by the Banque de France for a banknote of 50 Francs 1964 with portrait of "Montaigne" on french banknote paper, very colorful design which was used as a proposal for a planned banknote but later rejected by the bank. The printed vignette was later used for trial printing on their printing machines. The note is front and back printed with red overprint "Experimentation" on front at top border, serial number #0020543. Rare essay print with classic french banknote design in great crisp original condition: UNC.
