Celtic, Cantii, uninscribed coinage, (c.50-20 BC), gold Quarter Stater, 1.34g, 'Treelike Trophy' type, blank die except for mirrored linear patter at two points on periphery, rev. tree-like trophy, ring-pellets above, various other symbols around (ABC 189; VA -; S.47), a most pleasing piece in the highest state of preservation, extensive lustre and eye appeal, extremely fine, very rare, probably the finest known.
