Celtic, Atrebates and Regni, Verica, (c.10-40 AD), silver Minim, 0.34g, 'Sleeping dog' type, sphinx right, c-f below, divided by legs, rev. curled animal, veri above (ABC 1328; Bean VERS4-4; VA 557-1; S.156), a little porosity under magnification, however, a very pleasing piece and particularly sharp for this, toned, extremely fine, very rare.
