Celtic, East Wiltshire, uninscribed coinage, (c.50-20 BC), gold Stater, 4.72g, 'Savernake Forest' type, blank die, rev. horse right of distinctive style, solar wheel above, large wheel below, several torc-like features before, dispersed symbols around field (ABC 2091; VA 1526-1; S.37), base gold with a deep tone, basically as struck with underlying lustre, extremely fine, rare.
