Celtic, North Thames, Eastern, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), gold Quarter Stater, 1.36g, 'Beaded Trophy' type, blank with banding, rev. stylised Roman trophy with corded s shaped symbols flanking (ABC 2243; VA-; S.47), some contact marks, a little die breakage to reverse, a well struck piece, even tone, nicely rounded, nearly extremely fine, extremely rare.
