Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), gold Stater, 5.94g, 'Late Whaddon Chase' type, traces of wreath design rev. horse right, wing motif and pellet above, corded groundline below, eye behind (ABC 2338; Sills mint B, 2; VA 1498-1; S.33), a few faults, metal somewhat matte, good reverse with plenty on flan, good very fine, very rare.
