Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, uninscribed coinage, (c.80-50 BC), gold Quarter Stater, 1.31g, 'Clacton de Jersey' type, three men in a boat, [annulets and other symbols around], rev. horse right, pellets above, pellet, saltire and garnished groundline below (ABC 2350; VA-; S.42), obverse die highly dilapidated, some surface cracking to the flan with traces of glue, better reverse, a darker gold this, fair/nearly very fine, scarce.
