Celtic, Cantii, Dubnovellaunus, (c.25 BC-AD 5), gold Quarter Stater, 1.09g, 'Pentagram' type, blank die with banding, rev. horse right, ring-pellet above, pentagram below, dispersed pellets in field (ABC 309; VA 163-1; S.170), oval flan, the metal appearing water worn, a well-placed strike for maximum imagery on this, even tone, good very fine, very rare.
