Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Rues (c.1-10 AD), bronze Fractional Unit, 0.87g, 'Concave Squares' type, concentric incurved quadrilaterals with ring-pellet in centre, all within beaded border, rev. eagle standing, food in beak, rvii (ABC 2763; VA 1903-1; S.274), surfaces slightly grainy but preserving remarkably well, green patina, a pleasing strike, good very fine, very rare.
