Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Cunobelin, (c.10-40 AD), gold Quarter Stater, 1.33g, 'Biga' type, camvl in garnished tablet on vertical wreath, heart-shaped symbols in quarters, rev. biga left, leaf above, wheel and cvno below (ABC 2807; Kretz B2; VA 1913-1; S.290), fractional wear on obverse, otherwise a very appealing piece, well struck and centred, lustrous and with good fields, extremely fine, very rare.
