Celtic, Cantii, Dubnovellaunus, (c.25 BC-AD 5), bronze Unit, 1.81g, 'Dreadlocks' type, bust left with thick corded hair, pellets before face, rev. pegasus right, cross-hatched rectangular box and star below, pellets around (ABC 336; VA-; S.-), some patination in recesses, however, surfaces remarkably well preserved, much detail retained from this crisp strike, extremely fine, extremely rare.
