Celtic, Belgae, uninscribed coinage, (c.80-50 BC), gold Stater, 6.10g, 'Chute' type, degraded head of Apollo right, rev. disjointed horse left, a series of pellets above, crab? below, spiral before, three parallel lines and eye symbol behind (ABC 746; VA 1205-1; S.22), striking weakness before Apollo's head along with some general wear, however, a well-rounded specimen, toned in recesses, this reverse particularly full and well centred, very fine, a prolific issue.
