Tierra del Fuego. Territory Popper gold 5 Gramos 1889 MS62, Buenos Aires mint, KM-Tn8, Janson-7. Lustrous, and well struck, as normal for this very scarce issue. Light handling marks are noted and more obvious on the obverse. Of the two denominations struck at Buenos Aires by the adventurer Julius Popper, the 5 Gramos is by far the scarcest, and rare in its own right.From the David Vice Collection
