Boleslaus II (967-999) silver Denar ND AU58 NGC, Prague mint, Cach-111, Frynas-B.1.29 (VR). DVX BOLЄSMLM, hand of God descending from Heaven, an annulet and cross to either side / LDCCOB PP ACO, hand of God descending from Heaven, a cross and trefoil of pellets to either side. Near-fully struck and attractive with aged silvery-gray cabinet patina. This type featuring the hand of God on both sides is quite rare. This example appeared in a Bruun Rasmussen sale in June of 2007 (Sale 774, lot 5428) and hammered for EUR 3450.
