Menelik II 1/2 Birr EE1888-A (1896) AU55 PCGS, KM4. An extremely rare issue, with a tiny mintage of 200 pieces, presumably for presentation sets, and we would estimate that less than 10 examples are known. Lustrous, with moderate abrasions and some dark residue, mainly around the obverse legend. The reverse is bright, and shows the satiny surfaces one would expect of a presentation, or Specimen, issue.
