Louis XV Ecu 1716-S MS62 NGC, Reims mint, KM414.18, Dav-1326. A superb example--struck over an earlier Ecu of La Rochelle with the H mintmark showing on the King's cheek--with pewter-gray surfaces and instances of warm, iridescent color residing within the legends. An altogether appealing selection, undoubtedly scarce in this Mint-State quality.
