Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg-Hannover. George III 1/2 Taler 1801-C MS64+ NGC, KM411, Welter-2820. Brilliant silvery white patina with touches of toning in the obverse lettering and medium gray reverse toning. The fields are fully prooflike with very high relief for the obverse portrait and the imperfections are few, and tiny. An exceptional example of this conditionally rare one-year type.
