George II gold 1/2 Guinea 1756 MS63 NGC, Royal mint, KM587, S-3685. An absolute stunner, as fresh as we have seen an example of this date, with glimmering luster that brightens both sides and a strike that confidently translated the detail of the die to the flan. Without the aid of a glass, the surfaces appear even finer than the designated grade, and there is no evidence of haymarking whatsoever. An example that clearly deserves a premium to even the typical "nice" example that shows up from time to time. A real winner!From the RichLyn Collection
