George IV gold Sovereign 1826 MS64 PCGS, Royal mint, KM696, S-3801. Obv. Bare head left. Rev. Crowned shield without mantle. Superbly struck, with bright golden luster and minor obverse marks. A conditionally rare type, and date, in grades of MS64 and above, with only two examples certified finer by PCGS and this piece at the upper end of the grade MS64.
