Victoria gold "St. George" Sovereign 1871 MS64 PCGS, Royal mint, KM752. S-3856. With beautiful golden-amber color, this selection features the young portrait of Victoria and the famed motif depicting St. George slaying a dragon. Strong definition throughout the devices is readily apparent, as are fields that are essentially free of any noteworthy blemishes, save for the occasional contact mark. The reverse presents an intriguing striation pattern of tone, while the obverse color is seamlessly blended. A piece that engages the eye at every turn, absolutely coveted in this select preservation.
