British Colony 9 Livres ND (1811) F12 NGC, KM36 (this type not listed), Prid-2. Weight of 23.14 gms. Host coin Choice Fine with still crisp details, countermark Very Fine or thereabouts. A Peru 8 Reales 1813 LM-JP with a central square piercing of 12 crenations and two raised crowned "G" countermarked within shaped indent. Initially authorized on May 9, 1811, this obviously genuine coin with the 1813 date an evidence that the operation was carried out for at least two years. Attractive for this very scarce issue and vastly desirable since evidently genuine with a rock-solid provenance. Ex.
