AEOLIS. Cyme. Ca. 155-140 BC. AR tetradrachm (35mm, 16.22 gm, 12h). Seuthes, magistrate. Head of the Amazon Cyme right, her hair bound with a taenia / KYMAIΩN, horse standing to right, its left foreleg raised, a one-handled cup below; ΣEYΘHΣ in exergue; all within laurel wreath. Oakley 62 (unlisted dies). SNG von Aulock 1640. Well centered on an immense, round flan and struck from lovely dies. Quite pleasing! NGC AU 5/5 - 3/5.
