PARTHIAN KINGDOM. Mithradates II (121-91 BC). AR tetradrachm (31mm, 16.04 gm, 12h). Seleucia on Tigris, ca. 120-109 BC. Diademed, draped bust of Mithradates left / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜEΓΑΛΟΥ ΑΡΣ-ΑΚΟΥ, archer in Parthian dress (Arsaces I) seated right on omphalos, holding bow, palm branch in outer right field, ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ / TV in exergue. Sellwood 24.3. Shore 66. Sunrise 281. A nearly perfect specimen of this impressive Hellenistic coinage, perfectly centered on a broad, round flan and displaying full "mint bloom." NGC MS★ 5/5 - 4/5.
