Mint State with strong mint bloom, slight strike softness on the shield and scattered non-obtrusive handling marks preventing a higher designation. The final date of this scarce issue, very rare and most desirable in this quality. The Rudman example of this date (Heritage Auctions 9/2015, lot 31369) hammered for $1,200 in AU58 NGC certification.
