Wilhelmina I gold Proof 10 Gulden 1932 PR66 NGC, KM162, Sch-752. Essentially flawless in presentation with faint tone over deeply reflective mirrors and delicate frost over Wilhelmina's portrait and the crowned shield on the reverse. A great proof rarity for Netherlands, as the mintage for this date was likely 20 or less as it was for most 10 Guldens of the era. We have located no comparable examples after a search of archived auction sales; a fact that should delight collectors that make "high difficulty of replacement" one of their most important collecting objectives. Krause catalog price(s) for this item: $250 in BU.
Estimate: 4000-5000 USD
