Dutch Colony - United East India Company Ducaton 1733 AU58 NGC, Dordrecht mint (Holland), KM71, Dav-417, Sch-26a (RRR). Plain edge. The legends are perfectly rendered and the centers just short of fully struck, with superb luster retention in the uncommonly smooth fields. Very rare in this quality, with nice additive tone. Better preserved than the Joseph R. Lasser specimen that was sold by CNG in January of 2015 for $7,000 hammer; easily among the finest extant for the date.
