Danzig. Stephan Bathori gold Ducat (15)84 MS63 PCGS, Fr-3, Dutkowski/Suchanek 136 V, Kopicki-7447 (R3). Obv. Crowned and armored King, with small head, facing right. Rev. Two lions supporting Danzig city arms. Fully lustrous, with interesting multiple strikes leaving numerous letters doubled, or tripled. A very rare type in Mint State, and very similar to the strike on the lot in the Antykwariat Numizmatyczny - Michal Niemczyk, Auction 7, Lot No. 40.
