Saudi Arabia
Abdul Aziz bin Saud gold 4 Pounds ND (1945-46) MS62 PCGS, Philadelphia mint, KM34. Struck by the US and based off the British sterling standard, this is an attractive example with mellowed-golden surfaces that are lightly toned, and several contact marks that blot the outer registers. An ever popular issue that has the weight of four gold sovereigns and was minted for the purpose of paying the Saudi Arabian government for oil, absolutely coveted in this Mint State preservation.
Estimate: 1750-2250 USD
