Cape of Good Hope. British Colony bronze Proof Pattern Penny 1889 PR64 Red NGC, KM-Pn1. Plain edge. A superb coin, among the best we have handled, with full blazing golden red and deeply mirrored fields, almost perfect rims, even full red on the edge (!), full proof impression, no ticks or hairlines or flaws of any kind on either side other than a faint scuff at top of reverse field, probably given the "64" grade for the slightest tan oxidation just above the queen's bun. Certain to bring great viewing pleasure to its next owner.
