Ferdinand & Isabella gold 2 Excelentes ND (1476-1516) MS63 NGC, Seville mint, Fr-129, Caliclo Type 73, no. 79. Obv. Crowned busts facing, an S mintmark between. Rev. Rev. An eagle, head left, supporting quartered arms. Full, bright mint luster, with bold details in the center and some striking weakness in the peripheral areas. The portraits of the King, and Queen, are unusually boldand a small edge flaw is noted at 3 o'clock.
