Trinidad & Tobago
British Colony Countermark 9 Shillings ND (1811) F12 NGC, KMA14.1. Base coin Fine, countermark Very Fine or thereabouts. Authorized on June 11, 1811 with an official mintage of 25,000 pieces. A wholesome example of this very scarce piercing with a rock-solid pedigree, thus vastly desirable since Pridmore bluntly stated that, from his experience, 24 out of 25 coins were modern forgeries! Ex. Atteck collection, a group of Caribbean holey dollars issues formed in the mid-19th century Trinidad.
Estimate: 1500-2000 USD
