George V gold 1/2 Sovereign 1918-P MS63 PCGS, Perth mint, KM28, S-4008. The key date of the Australian half sovereign series, with an estimated mintage of just 200 to 250 pieces. Between PCGS and NGC, a total of 38 pieces have been graded, with only 8 graded higher than MS63. A true Choice Mint State example, the only hairlines present are really only visible under magnification. There is some faint striking weakness evident on the central part of the horse on the reverse, as is typical for the issue, which should not be confused for actual wear.
