Victoria 50 Cents 1888 MS64 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM6. The single highest graded example seen by either PCGS or NGC. Some scattered surface marks that are really only visible when viewed under magnification, this piece is clearly a solid Choice Mint State example. Steel gray toning with subtle blue highlights along the periphery, there is a significant amount of residual striking luster that produces an impressive cartwheel effect. A very attractive piece, and highly desirable for the condition-conscious collector of Canadian coins. Ex. Canadiana, Grossman, and Alston Collections.
