Charles II gold "Elephant" 2 Guineas 1664 AU50 NGC, Royal mint, KM425.2, S-3334. Elephant below bust. Scattered marks on the obverse, but with a very pleasant reverse. An ever-popular piece depicting an elephant on the obverse, representative of the fact that much of the gold used to strike this series was imported from Guinea by the Africa Company, whose badge was the Elephant and Castle.From the RichLyn Collection
