Anne gold Coronation Medal 1702 MS61 NGC, MI-228-4. A scarce and rather hefty gold medal honoring the coronation of Queen Anne. Some scattered hairlines, but still clearly mint state, and quite attractive when viewed in hand with the naked eye. The reverse scene depicts Anne as Pallas Athena, brandishing the thunderbolts of Jupiter against the personification of France.
