George III gold Proof 1/2 Guinea 1787 PR65 Ultra Cameo NGC, Royal mint, KM608, S-3735, WR-130. Simply stunning; as fine of an example as likely there is in existence; while NGC has graded 2 at the PR65 Cameo level, this is the only one to receive the coveted Ultra Cameo designation. Light coppery blushes throughout with surfaces so flawless that one can clearly see the die polishing lines, this is one of those pieces for which photos cannot do justice. There are a couple of nearly microscopic marks on the cheek of George that serve as diagnostic marks, but otherwise essentially perfect.From the RichLyn Collection
