Victoria gold Proof 1/2 Sovereign 1853 PR63 Cameo NGC, Royal mint, KM735.1, S-3859, WR-346. Small date, reeded edge. A very rare type- we have not offered an example of this particular WR number since January, 2007. Then, we had a PCGS PR63 Cameo that sold for $7,000 hammer. A few light scattered hairlines, but no singular flaw stands out to distract the eye, making this an attractive PR63. Deeply mirrored with a nice cameo contrast effect.From the RichLyn Collection
