Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1817 NG-M MS63 NGC, Nueva Guatemala mint, KM71, Onza-1209. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated with superbly lustrous and reflective surfaces and the mild surface abrasions usually found at this designation level. Softly struck at the centers with adjustment marks most evident on the reverse. The only available date of this elusive type yet very rare and desirable in this lofty grade. Currently one of the two finest certified examples of the type by NGC (both graded MS63) and undoubtedly among the very finest extant.
