Peru
Philip gold cob 2 Escudos 1711 L-M MS63 NGC, Lima mint, KM36. 6.7 gm. Boldly struck, with the king's name clearly visible and relatively ultra high relief for the devices on the obverse. Great luster. A little double striking evident on the obverse, with a small area of weak strike at 9:00 on the reverse. Aside from those few negative points, the coin is really quite superb, and an ideal piece for the collector of cob coinage.
Estimate: 5000-7000 USD
