Lithuania. Sigismund II Augustus gold Ducat 1548 UNC Details (Damaged) NGC, Vilnius Mint, Fr-2, Ivanauskas--16SA3-1 (RRRR), Gumowski-631 (RR), H-Cz 7127 (R7). Obv. Crowned head of King Sigismund II Augustus right. Rev. Crowned coat-of arms divides date. Fully lustrous, and well struck, with a cut on the obverse running from the O in POLO through Sigismund's face to his nose. The reverse is rather choice. Extremely rare, and the first example we have seen of this issue.
