Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Andronicus III. 1282-1328. AV Hyperpyron (22mm, 3.32 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck circa 1325-1328. Half-length figure of the Theotokos, orans, within city walls with four towers; lis to left, A to right / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus II and III kneeling to either side. DOC 493; PCPC 185, sigla 3; SB 2461. VF, a couple of hairline flan cracks. Well struck for issue.
