(=this is the work of the Lord of Hosts) Battle scene, with the army of Maurice, on the left advancing towards the troops of Albert of Austria, beginning to flee to the right. Rev. (quatrefoil stops) NVMISMA.ORDINVM. TRAIECTENSIVM (=coin of Utrecht) Crowned shield bearing the arms of Utrecht. MI I p. 175, 172. Van Loon I pp. 535-6, ii. A lovely, beautifully toned example. Good extremely fine.
