LIBERTAS PATRIÆ, ME DEFENSORE, TRIUMPHAT, INSIDIATA NIHIL VIS INIMICA NOCET (=the liberty of my country triumphs under my protection, the insidious violence of my enemies injures me not) Frederik Hendrik enthroned to left, prostrate enemies below his feet; to left, Mary and William standing before a landscape with marching troops, a fortified city and sailing ships on the ocean; to right, arms, flags and cavalry. Rev. QUO TE MARS ET AMOR VOCAT INTRA DIVA VIRETUM FRUCTUM HIC LIBERTAS TE GENITRICE FERET (=enter, divine creature, the bower where Mars and Amor invite you; here Liberty will bear fruit in you) William and Mary at the entrance of an enclosure containing gardens and a palace; in the background, ships on the sea.
