A set of notes from the Banco de Caracas, denominated in Venezolanos, which circulated from 1872 to 1879, and the Bolivares which replaced it. This set of designs is almost impossible to acquire in issued form, and rare even as proofs today. Engraved steel plate patterns mark these notes as distinctively from the 1800s. The 5 Venezolanos is PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 Net, edge damage, previously mounted. The 20 Venezolanos with as made cut outs is PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 Net, tears. The 100 Venezolanos is PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 Net, edge and internal damage, toned. The Bolivares notes all have POCs over the signature area. The 20 Bolivares is PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 Net, toned. The 100 Bolivares is ungraded yet. The 500 Bolivares is PMG About Uncirculated 55 Net, previously mounted, splits.
