BIRMINGHAM HALFPENNY around, rev remains of a pyramid and a fallen statue, three hands clasped, FOEDUS above, SIC OMNIA below, MIHI SORTE DATUM MDCCXCIX in exergue, edge PAYABLE BY GEORGE BARKER + + (Pye p.12, 11; Atkins p.208, 45; D&H Warwickshire 69). From the fractured obverse die, minor rim bruise, otherwise good extremely fine and toned, very rare.
