BIRMINGHAM HALFPENNY around, rev remains of a pyramid and a fallen statue, three hands clasped, FOEDUS above, SIC OMNIA below, MIHI SORTE DATUM MDCCXCIX in exergue, edge plain, in collar (Atkins p.208, 45a; D&H Warwickshire 69a). From the fractured obverse die, minor marks and carbon flecking, otherwise good extremely fine retaining much brilliance, rare.
