BRITISH 18TH CENTURY TOKENS, ENGLAND, Charles Heath, (1752-c.1832), apprenticed as a baker, ultimately working in the linen trade as a bay maker in Colchester, Copper Halfpenny, 1794, obv Colchester Castle, the castle extends to the edge on the left, rev a loom, SUCCESS TO THE BAY TRADE around, edge PAYABLE AT SOUTH SHIELDS AND LONDON (D&H unlisted, noted as D&H Essex 10g). Nearly good extremely fine and exceptionally rare, previously unrecorded and the only example traced.
